One of the worst releases I've ever heard...

Great release this. Only hampered by the silly ambient track at the end. Quite surprised at the low score.

Yeah, when I saw it I was totally "wtf". I can't understand why the rating is low because even if you don't like the last track you can just delete it from your computer and STILL have 35 minutes of GOOD death metal.
If that last track was replaced by 3-4 songs like the first ones it would have beena killer release worth of a 9 at least

'Zackly! I can't help but wonder if the low score is because it lacks the hype surrounding it like the recent Mitochondrion did. A cynical way to look at it, mind.

Being one of the people who first helped push the Mitochondrion album into prominence, I must say Owl failed in my eyes at capturing the atmosphere that made Mito's latest so...enveloping. I got bored in my attempts to get into this album, which surprised me because it has everything I look for.

Perhaps Mitochondrion spoiled you then? A little too similar perhaps.

Quite surprised at the low score.
Not me. It was a fairly interesting listen, I certainly wasn't bored or anything the first time, but for some reason I just couldn't go through it again.
About five minutes into the album (on my second listen), I just had that "oh, not again" feeling.

Well really the low score is down to a couple of 'tards who were unduly offended by this music, proffering a 1 and a 2, probably making the mistake of venturing outside their comfort zone, so yeah, no surprise here after all.

This having a 6 is criminal. Just listened to it (twice actually) and I'm beyond impressed. Such a dark atmosphere with great production and cool guitar riffing. My only complaint would be the sometimes annoying guitar leads, but that only ocurred twice

Not on par with Mitochondrion. I was looking fro some interesting moments while listening to this album and suddenly realized that the final parts of 4th song are being played. Needles to say that the stupid final track makes the already boring album an real displeasure. 5.5 for me.
