Heard a couple of new songs live at dutch Doom Days and they sounded awesome.

On my listen of it the album. And goddamn, this is some seriously great stuff. Even a step upwards from their debut.
Pim's grunts work great here and I find them to possess a bit more identity than Rogga's ones on the previous album. Ed's vocals have also imrpoved a lot.

Looking forward to this, but why isn't Pim featured on the line-up yet ?

He isn't? Will fix it later tonight.

Ed is brilliant, what makes this great is that it sounds really fresh for a Doom Metal record. I'm slowly getting addicted to this

After almost two months, I'm growing to like this more and more. Could be my favorite doom record of the year so far (though Anguish is really good too). The clean vocals are very good; that nasal, melancholy tone reminds me a little of Pat Walker, and the vocal melodies do have some similarities to Warning/40WS too. Really like the balance of good guitar melodies, some tasteful synth, soulful clean vocals and quality growling.
Favorite tracks might be Rain On Me and Bury Me (those first vocal lines are just divine).

the cleans remind you of Pat Walker? That's the first I heard that being said.
Almost everyone (me included) finds the clean vocals to remind them of Buddy Lackey of Psychotic Waltz/Deadsoul Tribe

I don't know if I checked the right songs, but I don't really hear that similarity. Higher-pitched, more tense, and he lacks the theatrical nasality that characterizes both Warby and Walker (who admittedly has a deeper voice, or a darker tone anyhow). They both sound like they really want to break into a vibrato but don't quite dare. I don't know if their voices are very similar, but the way they use them is.

The most accurate description of Pat's voice ! and now that you mention it I find them a bit similar too

Hmm the combination of the production and the instrument sound really put me off this, just too clean, too in your face and overbearing. Resonates very badly with guitar tone and cymbals. Couldn't finish it, might try it again at some other point but this could really do with dirtying itself up a bit.

I've heard a couple of tracks off this on an internet radio show, I liked the vox a lot. Should probably seek it out.

I'm beginning to think this little project is just way too corny sounding for my tastes... Growls save this from being a complete disappointment, although if I remember correctly that was my opinion of the debut as well. The music is just so fluffy.

I actually love most of the music here as well as the harsh vocals. If that was it, I may rate it an 8 or probably higher. The clean vocals are sometimes sub par (too nasal at times and his timbre doesn't always fit the music well) but overall I got used to it.
BUT.
WHAT IS UP with the "crying" sound effects in several of the songs? Seriously? Like, "in case you didn't realize: the music is supposed to be sad." Duh, thanks. Way too cheesy for me. Way to spoil some excellent music.

Some bands can incorporate that sort of added melancholic effect pretty well, but it just felt a little out of place to me as well.

If it wasn't for the clean vocals (bad), I would've liked this much more I think. The clean vocals just annoy me and it kinda ruins it a bit.

What a great music this band is playing! I didn't knew about them until a few days. Powerful DOOM.
The voices are perfect and the production is one of the top!

Beautiful doom metal record for those who prefer melancholic and not-too-heavy kind of doom.
