This album is mesmerizing. Apparently Molasar killed himself before its release, so I guess that means no more P.H.T.O albums to look forward to.

There is a new drummer in the band. But I don't like the way it turn now: singer slashes himself with knife during gigs since a few months.

Well apparently the singer offed himself, so having a new drummer doesn't make sense.
As for public self-mutilation, almost all depressive black metal frontmen do it.

The hell does P.H.T.O. mean?
"Please Hold Troy's Onion" is my guess.

How do you know that? Molasar was the drummer... and now the band has a new drummer. Makes sense to me.

I'm pretty sure P.H.T.O is a one-man project and he offed himself. Although that's kind of like all the stories you hear about depressive black metal musicians being locked up in institutions and stuff...probably just for dramatic effect/marketing.

Nope, look at their MySpace, only the drummer killed himself but the band is still active with its other members.

Well then that's good news!
About the band still being active...not the whole suicide thing.

Haha yeah, I'm happy that they're still active 'cause their music is quite interesing, I like the bass work here.

Meh. It's part of the image. If they sing about killing themselves they might as well back it up a little.

any man who rather cut him self in order to escape his own problems instead to take the stand on his ground and fight is a weak and coward ...
they promote quite opposite of what black metal is by doing so...

You should read up on mental illness. It's not as much a choice as you seem to think it is.
Also, that "what black metal stands for" argument is outdated. It isn't 1995 anymore, Varg isn't in prison, churches aren't being burned down in the name of heathenism, and some musicians are even producing music in a studio instead of their mother's basement.
As for being idiots, that's your opinion.

Well I'll leave you be in this thread then. I don't like discussing these kinds of things with people who have such a Hitler-esque outlook on the human race.

Seriously, What the fuck did I just read?
I think those are exactly the views that aren't good material for REAL progress. But yeah, if you say you're behind by a couple of years it could explain so much... Or maybe not.
I'm just going to ignore it, it makes me sick.
So yeah... interesting BM that I should re-check, kind of forgot how it sounded like.

Notice that I said "you", I preffer to give the benefit of doubt to an entire nation. Countries mean nothing to me, individual people's thoughts are the problem.

Back on-topic:
A very "meh" album. Depending on my mood, I see it as either completely average or slightly below that. Completely run-o-the-mill stuff, and the vocals are specially annoying.

Affliction (the song) is amazing, the rest of the album doesn't really match up to it. The bass guitar is absolutely crushing, it's not often you hear it as dominant as this in BM.

Chilling album and story to it. His vocals sound like he knew he was going to take his life while making this music. Dying man's testament in sound? R.I.P
