This is almost definitely going to be the best power metal album of 2013. It's probably their best since since SKII.

I don't know man Scape, I found it kind of average... anyways its my opinion. I know everyone's all so hyped about it
but Idk, it did not make that much of an impact on me. Lol Its okay I guess. Could've been alot better than that.

....To be honest, my first language is English and I could barely make sense of what he was saying anyway, it was that poorly phrased..
I did not expect I had written in such a simple english, yet you still confused with what I had said. Furthermore claiming your first language is english.
I dont think yor problem is language but your intelligence level (Your misconception : First languguage is english = High intelligence)
That was not my misconception and never has been: I know many people who have lived their entire lives in the UK with intelligence that barely rivals that of a squirrel (and yes, that is where I was born and where I have lived my entire life: if I had any reason to say my first language wasn't English, I'd have made it) and I would argue myself as being only a bit above average intelligence, with a fondness for philosophical matters and the creative arts. However, if you read back what you said, you'll realise that, through your choice of words, you implied that you were better than those who liked the 7 Sinners album by saying they were abnormal and you were normal. That is a very serious insult. You've explained yourself since then, so I know that wasn't the intention of your comment, but, at the time, all I had to go on was what you'd said, which was a serious insult to those who liked the album.
Also, to explain the difficulty in understanding your last comment, I have to ask: have you ever tried reading something that is poorly phrased while sleep depraved? It's not difficult, but it does mean it can take even longer than usual to be sure you've understood it. In that particular instance, your poor phrasing, combined with this lack of sleep (less than 3 hours the previous night due to late night studying for a driving theory test), meant I had a little difficulty in being sure I'd completely understood you. Which, obviously, I did not. I'm now much more awake (thank you, energy drinks!) and I can see that, whilst you didn't phrase it so poorly that it was almost completely unintelligible (as I thought at the time), it was still poorly phrased enough for some serious potential for miscommunication, which did indeed happen. I apologise for being overly harsh in my previous comment, although I do recommend you take the time to double check what you are saying in the future to prevent misunderstandings like this from happening again.
Since I think we've derailed this thread far enough, I suggest we end this discussion here (if you need to respond to anything I've said, PM me) and let people talk about this album in peace.

Wow. finaly album from Helloween i like after long time. It's fast, heavy, melodic and none song is boring (maybe just "Wanna be god" , but it's not a song in a true sense). Well, should i visit their live show after long long time?

The artwork isn't as bad as the one for Gambling With The Devil! The packaging is actually quite cool on the digipak I have.

I have no idea what you guys like so much about this record. To me 'Nabatea' is the only decent song, the rest is extremely poor and completely forgettable. "7 Sinners" and "Gambling with the Devil" were way better ;/

3? Is that a logical rating? I rate "5 "albums i really really don't like for example "Night At The Opera" by Blind Guardian or some shitty album by Metallica. 3 means it's one of the worst albums ever. What the hell, you like "7 Sinners" and you rate this 3? Wierd. I know people have opinions but logic must play a role too...

I realize 3 is a harsh rating, but that's how disappointed I am with this record, that's all. Maybe it will change with time, but right now Straight Out of Hell is one of the worst Helloween efforts to me ;/

Wrong. 1's are reserved for the worst albums ever. 3's mean "very bad". He probably thinks this album is very bad.

1 means it's nothing. not even worth being called an album. I don't care about the metal storm labeling of numbers, but according to a professional critic 3 is way too low for an album like Straight Out Of Hell...

Well we're using Metal Storm so I think I'll go by their rating system. Also, 3 is a good score for Straight Out Of Hell if one hates it... Not everyone is going to think the same of the album.

Sure. But the key point here is, how could someone like 7 Sinners and hate this one? They are the same band and the albums aren't so different. I personally prefer this one over 7 SInners...

The problem is you're the only one thinking 7 Sinners and Straight Out Of Hell are having the same musical style. They're not.
If you say "I LIKE it" (a typical facebooking style comment) then you don't have to explain much and refute other people's comments as it's on personal preferences.
If you say "It's GOOD", then you have to explain WHY ? in a more technical appreciation, so that there is a direction for arguments. Otherwise, It is meaningless to talk much.

Helloween have pretty much worked on the same sound since 'Keeper of the Seven keys-The legacy', and on their latest, 'Straight out of the hell', they show no signs of changing their sound. There's a few 'softer' tunes such as 'Far from the sun' and the cringeworthy title of 'Hold me in your arms', but these are well balanced by the grittier likes of the title track and fantastic opener 'Nabatea'. The main problem I've always had with Helloween's latter albums is the length and obvious filler material, and unfortunately, on this album, it slightly suffers from that. I personally can't see what harm it would do to cut 'Asshole' or 'Church breaks down' from the album to make for a more consistent flow of songs, but nonetheless 'Straight out of Hell' shows that Helloween are not stopping just yet.

Good point, just disagree with Church Breaks down as I think it's one of the best songs they did in a while. And this album has less filler than other albums if u ask me. There's a nice variety in the songs although it's not to all the fans liking...
