Hmmm... Is this going to be the most bombastic Nightwish album ever? Hardly, according to this absolutely boring and predictive song.
Every track on Dark Passion Play (my favourite album so far) was hugely better than this one o_O What happened to them to release this kind of ****?!

I think this is a brilliant and grand song. I didn't expect any less from this group anyway. Seems they're getting bigger and bigger with every album now.

OMFG this is sooo cheesy I was expecting at least the level of DPP but what I'm hearing is a poppy recycled version of Master Passion Greed (seriously, pay attention to the first half's rythm section, it's a bland copy-paste of MPG's main riff, minus the crushing heaviness). Only good points: the (almost) epic choir in the second half and, yes, the vocal structures fit Annette's voice much better than the last album's.

I've checked them... But nothing for me, really. The songwritting style on Dark Passion Play is more suitable for my taste... I don't care very much for singers but to be honest - Tarja is nothing in comparison with Simone Simons. :-)

Chill out guys its the single, obviously they felt it had the most mass appeal. ps I think its pretty awesome. dont worry they have the rest of the album to be epic.
