Wow, this is wonderful. Catchy, upbeat, powerful. If the rest of his albums are like this, I can't wait to delve into the catalog.

I recommend Ocean's Of Time. This is one of the not-as-consistent-as-usual efforts in ARP's discog to me

I haven't heard this yet, but I agree many ARP albums are hit and miss. Definitely not Ocean's of Time though, so I second that recommendation.

It's hard to really go wrong with any studio album featuring Johnny Gioelli doing the throat-job. IMO they are all killers!
The last four albums (Circle Of The Oath, The Crest, Tales Of The Crown, Mystica) are slightly heavier/ballsier, more bite to guitars and vocals with a bit less focus on ballads.
The four albums prior to that (Kings & Queens, Shadow Zone, The Masquerade Ball, Oceans Of Time) are slightly more dense/softer, stronger 80's feeling with a bit more focus on longer epics and ballads.
Enjoy (if you haven't already)! No comment on any of the earlier albums as I'm not familiar with those (from what I've heard they do sound great though).
