Is there a review coming for this any time soon?

Dont know.... I can see Daniell as someone interested to make a review but that's just a thought, I don't know if someone in the staff/elite called dibs or something.

Pretty damn dull listen... Wtf is wrong with you guys. You used to be so good. Why don't you stop making music for a while and just wait for some better ideas rather than releasing this pile of raspy droning riffs? Pffft. Vocals are the only thing I really liked.

this one is laods better tan the previous two imo.

Now I just hope it's not going to the biggest letdown of 2012, even if I don't expect it to be excellent after listening to the song When Gods Leave Their Emerald Halls.

It's not quite a "big letdown"; just... Boring and uneventful.

From the few songs I've heard from this I can't see it even in the same league as Microcosmos, which is a solid and enjoyable album.

I doubt it's better than Drudkh's 3rd best album, but I still haven't heard it, so I can't say for sure.

Drudkh''s 3rd I still regard as the weakest by far of the the first four. Damn what a letdown that one was after the awesomeness of the previous two.

For realz? I really love that one, like I said, I think it's their third best, after Autumn Aurora and Blood in Our Wells.

Never really understood all the praise for that one. It's quite nice, to be sure (rated it a 7), but nowhere near the throne.

Just tryd it pretty awesome muiscaly I love it but cox could be lil calmer, not growish style, generaly OK, good for BM, but not all can be perfect, this will be in my play list this week ... will I buy it - no - why - no money , maybe some day, I like this band and Ukr BM scene, no metter NSBM whatever, music metters if its good , I dont care about band idiology

After 3 listens, I am safe to say this is a kick ass album, which easily secured a spot as my 4th favorite Drudkh release. Things get especially spicy at the 3rd track and onwards.

Nice to see an old band kick some ass with a new album instead of just disappointing.

Drudkh is one of my fav bands.. They say this is the album coming back to the roots ... ?? It is boring ... I love this band, Drudkh needs to press foward.. U can still keep it raw n yet make it different ... Its riff lingering on and on ... Drudkh vocs. are some of the best.. the riffs keep goin on n on .. Drudkh has so much potential ... Especially with all their musicians.... Why repeat boring doom metal riffs when they have shown in the past they can surpass all music! Drudth went from from fav to boring...

Ok, maybe not as bad as I initially thought after 5 listens, but still a clear step down after the already disappointing Handful Of Stars.

Meh. I'd rate this 3/5 on my RYM scale. I believe the explanatory text for that is "Good stuff" whereas 3,5 is "Very good." It's a bit toothless and bland. I imagine it would be better received if it wasn't Drudkh, who had a really strong start. The production is generally pleasant, but I'm not convinced I'll go back to the record any time soon.

Drudkh is my favourite black metal band. The atmosphere they (used to) create is simply unique, and no other black metal band comes even close. I've just listened to the whole new album and then I played one old song, False Dawn. It's LIGHT YEARS in front of the new stuff in terms of quality. Even if one put all good stuff from the new songs into one and created a super duper single song, it wouldn't even come close to the wake that False Dawn leaves behind.

Probably listened to it 10 or 15 times, although I couldn't really tell you why. It's a pretty solid album and arguably a step up from A Handful of Stars, but that's about it. Although I think all the hate so far is a major overreaction

I wouldn't be opposed to a break, but remember it's not as if they tour or do interviews etc so I guess they have to fill up their days with something.

Huh. I was expecting something much worse but this was semi-enjoyable. High six/low seven for me. Still not anything I'd listen to more than once.

My first two listens were terribly affected by the general negative reaction towards this album, so I dismissed it as a boring album. However, I tried listening to it again, and found that it had some good riffs, but in general it was monotonous and repetitive. I'd give it a high seven if not for the horrendous guitar tone, so I gave it a high six.

I can't help but feel that this album was sabotaged a little by the stupid promotion of it as a return to the sound of the first two releases. This not only sets it up with ridiculously huge boots to fill, but isn't even that accurate, at least to my ears. If you try and detach the album from the first two, I think its a pretty enjoyable release. Sure, it doesn't capture the wonder of the first two, but its still not that bad!
