I can definitely see why poeple dont like this band.....but if you like simple, but well writen, melodic thrash with German choruses... its a winner.

Eh, if you like simplistic banality then be my guest. It's not really surprising coming from someone who so passionately defends the revivalist movement.

Let's settle this....

Awaiting quip, T-dog.

No quip, but a simple rebuttal.
Some thrash bands Troy likes:
Slayer, Sodom, Kreator, Testament, Overkill, Coroner, Destruction - to name some of the bigger, more well-known outfits.

I don't understand how anyone can give a 2000+ thrash album a ten. I mean, I'm not the biggest thrash fan, but come on...

How is that elitest? I mean, sure this album could be a thrashing good time (I haven't heard it yet) but there's no way in hell it's a ten.

Because you just said no thrash album from the year 2000 on deserves a 10. I'm not saying this album deserves a 10, or that I believe any thrash album after like 1992 deserves a 10, but not being able to see that others have different tastes than you is kind of elitist.

It could be that I don't really give out tens. I only have 1 album ratedwith a ten at the moment, and that's out of a lot of albums. I know other people have different tastse than me, but I just can't see how a revivalist band, or revivalist album can get a ten, when the same thing they've done, was made thirty years ago. I'm also not saying the revivalist movement sucks either, Warbringer, Vektor, Havok, they're great bands, but at least in my opinion, they will never get a ten. I guess this all just boils down to the different opinions of the music itself, and of the voting system here on MS.

250+ a lot?
Btw I have 5 albums rated with 10 out of the 2343 votes I have cast. But taking into account ALL the albums I have heard (which is easily over 10,000) It would still only be those 5. And one of those five is even a re-release and only got a 10 because of all the extras that were included. The original version of that album got a 9 btw.
But I also see your comment as elitist, espcially since you haven't heard the album at all.

I've heard they're last one, so yeah, I have heard this
But fine... I'll listen to it >:{

For me personally, I would agree that no thrash album released since the genre's resurgance is a 10. The best thrash album of the modern era is Exodus' "Tempo Of The Damned", and I rate that one a 9 (if "Throwing Down" wasn't on the album, and another song of the quality of the rest of the album was in it's place, then it'd be a 10). Sodom's latest is another one I'd give a 9 rating too, and certainly no revivalist thrash band has came anywhere near recording an album up there with the early 80's-early 90's thrash classics.

I believe this album is way better than the previous one, I really fancy Thirst released in 2008 (that i think it's their best album since The Morning After), but still this can be a great improvement compared with Vol(l)ume 14..
Highligths: Witchhunt 2.0, Not One Day Dead (But One Day Mad), Son Of A Fridge, Rapid Fire (A Tyrant's Elegy).

I rated it 8 in my review...with no knowledge about this band and barely any about thrash metal genre but its simply nice

That ugly piece of album art alone, not to mention album title, is keeping me away from this album.
