This is some excellent Cascadian-sounding black metal that borrows heavily from the likes of Agalloch and Wolves In The Throne Room, but it doesn't necessarily come across as worshiping either without making a name for itself. It's been a while since I listened to their debut but I did manage to check out their split with Panopticon and quite enjoyed that, so hopefully all this new material leads to a great follow-up full-length.

Pretty neat this, big improvement especially in the calmer parts.

Rating: 7 Not as bad as I initially thought it was, but I still prefer Ast.
EDIT: Great single. It kicks ass. After a lot of listens, it grew on me a lot.
