When asked to name your favorite Swedish death metal bands, you'll likely end up listing a slew of oldschool bands from the '90s: Entombed or Dismember or Unleashed, to name a few. What if you were asked to think of something a little more contemporary?

It was one goddamn good ride. Well, a little more technical, but in the end I was honestly happy, that I spent 40 minutes listening to brilliant playing techniques. Some parts are simply excellent!

``Engineering the Void`` is a release full of tempo changes, complex arrangements, odd time signatures and robot like technicality. A cold, almost emotionless, calculated and amazingly executed album if you ask me! If you try to actively listen it is truly a focus drainer and a tough (but rewarding) 40 min listen! An essential listen for tech-death metal fans!
