2005 has been, so far, a year with many very interesting and inspired releases. The Black Metal scene was one that gave birth to some really great albums. One of them was Ondskapt's "Dodens Evangelium", along with the re-release of the "Devilry" EP (Funeral Mist), the release of the "Kenose" EP (Deathspell Omega) and "Nouveau Gloaming" (Code), to name only a few.

This is truly beyond excellent.
Indeed, these guys know how to do some classic BM just the right way. Such insane vocals as well. Have you heard their debut? It's the one I listen to the most (mainly because I own a copy).
It's amazing too and slightly doomy. Shame I can't find a youtube video of the second song of the debut which is probably my favorite Ondskapt song since the vocalist go all in-fucking-sane on that one.

Make sure to cheak out the other two albums. These guys are awesome. I don't remember much of the latest except that it's good but the debut is a bit doomy... Excellent shit.
