Staff review by
Winter, one of the first bands, along with Paradise Lost, that harmonized beautifully together doom and death metal elements back in the ending of the 80s/birth of the 90s. And all I can say is that they did it in the most appropriate and original way, a way that many followed, yet, they, sadly, chose to disband after a not so long course, remaining a cult and respectable act in the scene.

Definitely a classic, although my tastes have changed a lot in the past year or two. I'd probably rate this a 7 or 8 now but there was a time when this was a solid 9. In spite of my personal tastes, this would still be something I'd recommend to anyone looking to get into death doom.
Prettier than BloodTears.

If only this album had the production that "Transcendence Into The Peripheral" has, I would probably love this. Decent stuff anyway.
I'm derp.
