Aye, these guys are fantastic and pretty damn solid throughout their discography. Gotta love the last song from Mass V. The vocalist always has such a desperate and in-your-face voice.

Oh... Also, if you ever have the chance to see them live. DO IT. They are actually a live band. As in... They are so much more intense and better live it's not even funny anympre.

Indeed. One of my favorite post metal bands. I love all their releases - my favorite is V

Yeah I've listened to three of their full-lengths now. It's consistent. It's great to be able to pick any album and know it's going to be at least as enjoyable as the others. But when it comes to seeing them live, unless I travel to see them, I have every chance if missing them unfortunately. But I believe you.

Well, they just released a live album if it means anything. Also, there are plenty of good quality live videos around.

Hello young lady. Have you tried Process Of Guilt's Faemin? I bet you'd dig that too

I usually have mixed feelings about live albums, but this is good enough to try. Plus, apart from the recent display of your very bad taste for lo-fi shitty bm, you don't usually give the worst recs.

I'll guess I can only take the good side of this... Otherwise, shut up.
Yeah I don't usually like live albums. I really enjoy DVDs though so when I have live albums it's mostly because it came with the DVD. XD

Hello Jay. Unfortunately I only know the split they did with Caïna a long time ago. And never had the opportunity to explore more. I wrote that down in my little notebook, feed-back within forty-eight hours as usual.

Erosion is so much better. Faemin is great but unfortunately they went overboard with the Cult Of Luna worship whereas they still had some identity on Erosion with their doom/postmetal/postrock approach. Well, they were actually more doom than post on that one.

Rod why are you peeing in the thread?

I mean you're right, Erosion is an amazing album (one of the few I'd give a 10 to on this site) but there's no need for the watersports.

And I was *just* about to bring the waterslide. You twit. But yeah... Back on these guys. My bad.

While I enjoy everything by Amenra... I find it kind of funny that all of the stuff I've heard is virtually the same. Then again, it would be dumb to complain. I mean... I love Nadja. That right there stops me from saying anything against these guys lack of wishes to re-invent themselves. They do what they do brilliantly so...

Also, for some reason the vocalist hates the audience and signs giving you his back for the entire set. Heh. xD
Ilham - 16.08.2014 at 18:04
Rating: 8 Yeah it's basically the same stuff in every Amenra album. That's why they don't change the titles perhaps. I would never be able to tell which is which during a blind test. Noted, Erosion it will be. Both actually.
