After having suffered from a broken ankle while performing live with the Backyard Babies, Michael Monroe started writing new material for his new album, stronger than ever during 1999 with a new record deal with the strong SPV Records, a deal signed with the help of his really good friend and personal manager for many years, Jude Wilder. Monroe's new effort during 1999 was "Life Gets You Dirty" and I really can't find a better title for this work because it's glam, sleazy, dirty and rock n' roll all the way, but I think Michael had always offered quality glam music so as to please our ears with the most beautiful tunes.
