This album is going to be shit on by allot of people. Quite honestly, you either love it immediately or hate it passionately. It's a challenging listen. Not because of it's complexity but because of it's simplicity. I can draw huge similarities between Von and early Hellhammer. The thing I love about this album is the black miasma it vomits out from it's rotted wretched mouth. It sounds like hell. That's what I was expecting from this release. It's played totally cave man. It's raw. it's honest. It's an extreme artistic expression. It gets in your head like a malicious entity. If you're looking for anything like Watain, Gorgoroth or 1349, you will hate this. If early Hellhammer, early Bathory , and Niefelheim is your cup of tea, then you will enjoy Satanic Blood.
