This exceeded my already lofty expectations. Better than Asphyx - Deathhammer, which is also a very good album. Every track is great and the guitars crunchy. I love the tempos...less doomy and more death metal than Asphyx. The production is, of course, another top notch effort by Dan Swano. I can keep listening to this one over and over and it is already one of my favorite death metal albums of 2012. Sure, it's a tried and true formula in many ways but the band keeps things interesting and energetic while constantly delivering the goods. No groundbreaking innovations here. This band just does death metal at a very high level and I appreciate that.
this is 3/4 current Asphyx plus one old Asphyx band member, only the bass is played by someone who was never in Asphyx but then again plays with Van Drunen in Hail Of Bullets
Heard it and it the most redundant unnecessary superfluous album of the year. And this coming from a big osdm fan.
It certainly reeks like Cnetury Media wants to cash in as fast as possible on the current osdm revival. The way they are going they will single handedly have killed it off within the year.
I love how people alsway bith on Roadrunner for selling out and cashing in but never hwen it comes to Nuclear Blast and especially Centruy Media, both who are just as bad in that sense as RR
