The first in probably many of those albums that'll be retroactively added into your top X albums of 2012. Seriously incredible stuff. Total Godflesh influence but sounding pretty unique altogether.

First album had it's moments, will check this out considering how cool the song on the 2012 recommedation thread is.

It's a pretty consistent record. If you like that track then you'll probably dig the rest.

Can't top listening to it. Nice to have a short album with short songs for a chance. A quick and satisfying hit.

it's an ironic title considering the songs are anything but lo-fi.

Yep that's right, lo-fi is not my thing and I really liked the youtube song. You should have clarified that on your staff pick

Yeah. I'm a bit confused by the title myself, because it's not obvious what they're trying to say. It's not ha-ha funny, because they're not that far from a lo-fi aesthetic even if it's achieved with good production, and they certainly are underground. The sarcasm would be apparent if Devin Townsend or Borknagar called their album that.
Of course, maybe they just didn't put that much thought into it.

Some great shit can be done quite fast and without thinking too much indeed.
Also, not "they"... just one dude.

These track titles are becoming somewhat of a cliche, and annoying.
Regardless, gonna check them out.

Meh, for this kind of albums it feels more meaningful to play as a whole if you ask me, so names would hardly matter to me.
Also... looking around 95% of metal songs... they are all cliche.

Indeed. Unlock The Shrine set the bar too high for awesome song names. Everything after it seemed a bit rubbish.

The Work Which Transforms God has also some great names... Let alone most of Mories' titles. Anaal Nathrakh too... There are quite a few when you just care to search. Most of them seem to work with the extreme spectrum of metal hehehe.

The music personally is hit-or-miss. I never really made any connection with the track titles and the quality of the release since the music always stands out, regardless of artwork, titles, etc. But yeah, it still helps to not see overused gimmicks. Word around town is that symbols/roman numerals and Atmosindusblack are more or less seen together and have been for quite some time.
