19:47 - Marcel Hubregtse Isole does have growls on the last album ;-) Check Winter, Disembowelment, Decomposed, Castle, etc all have growls and are doom :-)
19:34 - Draven Edge Megadeth "Super Collider-radio version" ...sarcastically speaking I guess the "non radio" version must be too brutal for the ears of the commoners
19:12 - ANGEL REAPER "Metalheads dont die! They just jam in the great gig in the sky!" :D
18:53 - Carrion Misery Same for me, but it is the reverse. I dreaded power metal until I started to sing along. The pure skill/talent involved is very inspiring.
18:49 - Apothecary A good 4-5 years ago I used to hate extreme vocals in metal, til I tried them out myself and realized how much effort and talent really goes into them. Loved extreme metal ever since :)
18:41 - Carrion Misery It's funny how we can point this stuff out, but I know so many people could care less lol. That's why I love metal so much since there's so much to converse about.
18:37 - EMols86 Carrion Misery, I was just about to say the same thing about lyrical themes defining a genre, because they do not. Maybe some themes are very common in certain styles, but it doesn't define the style...

Sick, Dirty And Mean is the best song in this album
It's a great song, but you know it's actually an Accept cover? (from Objection Overruled, 1993)...
No I didn't Know because I haven't had a chance to listen to them yet. thanks for telling me
Well, Accept is a great band. Nevertheless, I daresay you will like the cover much better (if you are more into extreme power rather than old-school heavy metal...) Besides, Udo Dirkschneider (Accept's vocalist back then) has a really unique voice - may take some time before it grows on you... But you really SHOULD give it a listen, the voice DOES grow on most people after some time...

When I listened to this for the first time, I didn't find it anything special.
