Gama Bomb's past couple discs never quite clicked for me. They sounded a bit like the kind of stuff I've got a sweet tooth for, but never really came together in a way that brought on the desired jitters and diabetes.

Ain't like that here, happy to say. This album is full of first-rate, amusing and exciting throwback thrash. These guys sound like respecters of Overkill now, not copycat worshippers, and they rock a Municipal Waste brand of ironic-ish bombast here. Good things.

Rating: 8 So far, I've listened to a good deal of tracks from this album, and I like it. This will satisfy my thrashy side for a good while!

The music is of decent/ok quality, but their vocalist just sounds... drunk person with an extra pair of lips. That kinda destroys all the good sides of this album.

Anytime someone says: "This is great thrash except the vocals!"....That's when I know I am going to like it (i.e. Vio-lence)

Vocals in Gama Bomb >>>>>>>>> Vocals in Vio-Lence.

  Not bad...

Rating: 10 The Terror Tapes is an ultimate thrash album. Relentless riffing. These guys have taken it to another level with this one. I love it ! ! !

Rating: 6 The vocalist had surgery before this album's production, so I guess the sub-par vocal delivery shouldn't be much of a shock. As it is though, the album is average albeit sometimes very decent thrash, a few songs for excellent listening.
