Here is a cleanly classic yet modern metal debut. From the frigid lands of northern Alberta, Canada, comes Edge Of Attack: 5 young musicians with metal to spare.
Let's call it "speed metal infused U.S. power metal with special attention to melody and atmosphere." Simple enough? No? Tough.

This album just gets better and better. Can't get enough! Who else picked it up?

I was expecting something more like Kobra And The Lotus's debut. Bit disappointed, actually.
Sound like heavy metal with some thrash influences. What would be the official genre here?

Heavy metal with some thrash influences? I'd buy that. I don't think there is an "official" genre; it's one of those great mixes of melodic metals, classic metals, and some moderness. I interviewed the band and even got some varying answers there Somtimes metal doesn't fit into any box and is just "awesome."

I was just wondering since there's no genre here and I've got the points to add one. I just don't want to add one that's not really appropriate. (how would you term "thrashish heavey", anyway)

It's a fast-paced catchy power metal record with which every spin it's really getting better.
"In Hell", "Forever" and "The Damned" stands out the best.
