Nah. This was really average. The vocals kinda kill it for me. I do not get why they keep Munroe in the band. Three mediocre releases with him was enough, I think. I wanted this to be different, and it is in some cases. This is at least the best album they've done since Masterpiece, but that doesn't say a lot. A good chunk of the riffs are great, but then the vocals come, and sorta ruin it.

To each his own, but I really like Ronnie, and the last three albums. I just don't understand why he's trying to sound like David Wayne all of a sudden, that does kinda turn me off. I think the best thing this band could do right now is try to get Mike Howe to come back from...whatever the hell he's is doing. Nevertheless, I'm gonna go check this album out...it's Metal Church afterall.

Yeah, to each his own is very true. I will probably get back to this album at some point where I'm more in the mood for it. And yeah, Ronny did change a couple of things about his vocals here. I do like that he's trying out the higher register. The thing that bugs me about his voice though is that it seems like it's caving in at some points. It sounds like he has to push so much t oreach the notes, that his voice is almost cracking. This is something I can like a lot in some cases, but with him it's just not doing it for me. Then again, I might change my mind someday.

Very average album. A couple of good songs, especially Suiciety but that's pretty much all positive about it. Like mentioned before the vocals are quite bad on some songs i.e. Generation Nothing but I don't see that as a major issue here.
