14.02.2014 Grecian, space-themed blackened grindcore. As good as it sounds. Far more song-based than your average grind outfit; this record displays an impressive amount of technical mastery and songwriting variation, not to mention a rich and satisfyingly juicy sound.

"I can say with utter certainty that Dephosphorus are my favourite grindcore band" - Stephen Hawking

Rating: 8 Sounding great. Fantastic punchy sound - nasty but very listenable, dynamic songwriting, quite technical too to my ears but totally catchy at the same time. Vocals I can give or take; could be a bit lower in the mix but this is already a highlight of the year.

Nice! Had no idea about this.

Woah, great stuff. Didn't know about these guys... The question remains though: Is it progressive?

They play at more than one speed, have lyrics about concepts, the drummer I'm pretty sure uses both hands to play the drums and the guitarist doesn't always look at the guitar when he's playing. Verdict = progressive. Maybe even avant-garde at a push.

Hhahahahahahaha. I fucking lost it with that one. Such lyrics. Very concept.

Bombin' from the first second. This year has had a pretty strong start, with albums like this coming out.
Alex Fenger - 12.02.2014 at 16:59
Rating: 8 Oh my god this is even better than their previous album (which I completely adored). 2014 is a wonderful year

Rating: 8 Their previous record did not do much for me. Hope that this is better.

Sounds much moar Weakling-ish if you ask me
Skyum - 01.03.2014 at 01:33
Rating: 9 This is absolutely brilliant. The vocals take some getting used to I guess, but for a Weakling fan it's not that difficult.
I don't get how anyone could possibly rate this a 5 or 6 as some users have..
Pazdzioch - 01.03.2014 at 02:05
  Quite an amazing cover too.

mz - 08.04.2014 at 00:49
Rating: 8 Any other band except weakling with similar vocals?
