Impaled Nazarene by the numbers, especially if you compare this to the last few releases. It's not a bad thing necessarily, but there's more forgettable content here and less bursts of hateful energy. The riff work is still pretty solid but here I get more of an average impression, as if the band decided not to fire on all cylinders. "Flaming Sword of Satan" is a great jam though.
