Track 2 and 3 are killers. The rest has some goods and fillers, good album overall

I've only listened to the first three albums so I'm unsure whether to take this as a comeback album for Incantation or simply a continuation of their core death metal sound. That said, I found Dirges of Elysium to be almost as solid and powerful as the likes of Mortal Throne of Nazarene, but with a couple more fillers. For me the first half of the album comes across as more engaging than the second, but generally this is excellent stuff.

I find it sad that I can't find anything else than "yeah it's okay" to say about this.

I don't. This was a really boring album to listen to, almost a chore at times.

I posted that just before getting to the last song. Sixteen minutes long. I have no idea how I'm going to be able to finish it.

Take my word for it, the journey isn't worth the "reward".
