There seems to be a duplicate of this page. Anyway, they're great live. But I'm not going to watch this, it's going to make me sad.

To my understanding, this is the DVD. The other is a live album.

Ministry should have stuck to synthpop. They were awesome at that.

On which albums were they synthpop? o.O
I need to hear that

Just the first album I think. Maybe Twitch, though I've never actually heard it.

Pretty different

Very good indeed. I have this theory that the metal bands make the best pop albums =P

That is actually pretty decent. I own Twitch but I haven't listened to it yet. That one is most likely from their debut as I recall one or two tracks from Twitch and they are already a bit "harder" than the song Joe posted.
I disagree with Joe (don't know how much of it was just a joke though)... I think Ministry should have disbanded right after Rio Grande Blood, that album is fucking amazing and everything afterwards is just... fuck it. :\

Something I also believe. Mories from Gnaw Their De Magia Cloaks makes some great, almost poppy stuff on some projects.

I just never really got into metal / industrial Ministry. Some songs were good, others didn't do anything for me.

By the way have you heard Semargl - Love? If you like Freezepop I take it that you will like that one.

Thanks.
I wasn't expecting such good stuff from Ministry. All I've heard before was House of the Mole, and it had just one or two good tracks.
Also heard that video above and it was pretty meh. (just to say I'm not too off topic)

I also think they should've stick to pop =P

Rio Grande Blood is a great release indeed. Among the top albums from the 00's for sure

People actually like their synthpop albums? Even their reunion albums are better than anything pre-Land of Rape And Honey, not that album was much better save the awesome Stigmata.

No... The reunion albums are fucking boring. I can at least crack half a smile with some of the synthpop albums and I'm not even from that period. They have some post-punk moments too... and I like post-punk.

As much as I love Ministry and the genre of synthpop, those attempts at synthpop were kinda bad .
I just think more people should know about those videos of Al. Funny stuff.
