Nice release for its genre! Riffing is well made.

I'm definitely not hearing the black metal. It sounds like extreme folk/power.

Wow, and here I thought extreme power metal was dead. This album is craaaaaazy. I haven't felt so much power and adrenaline since Bodom's Follow the Reaper and Norther's Endless War. Every single song just makes me want to rock out, play air guitar, headbang and mosh and charge into battle like I'm 16 again. And this feeling is consistent through the entire album!

Don't get me wrong, there is nothing groundbreaking or original here, that's why I gave it a 9 instead of 10. But seriously, these guys deserve some proper recognition because woooah I could party all night to this.

Pagan black metal... hmm I don't think so.
Sounds more like melodeath or extreme power / viking to me.

Anyways, I'm really enjoying this new release of theirs.
