Lacks a little in production department but this is adventurous as hell.

I wouldn't say anything is missing in the production on this record. Every aspect of it is audible and crisp, and I think it succeeds as a production in capturing the mightly vocals of Drew and the wonderful bass work. In terms of production quality, it was the best one Rishloo ever found.

But yes, this is Rishloo's greatest accomplishment. About damn time the band was featured here. Wonderful vocal performances, especially on To Tame the Temporal Shrew, Zdzislaw and Disco Biscuit. The only time I recall Drew reaching similar heights was on Blitz (from Terra Fames). The crisp instrumental performances feel inspired, and although similar territory has been covered by bands like Soundgarden, Tool and Karnivool, it feels very fresh. The instrumental segways don't linger too long, which is also nice.

One minor quibble- Shades is a really bad way to end such a superb album, and the bonus track after Shades is even more unbearable. If only they had ended better....

This album, holy shit. Disco Biscuit, holy shit. I've heard of this band many times before but never listened until now. I've been missing some top music. The dude has some fantastic vocal abilities. Not a bad track on here. There isn't even an average track. They're all superb.

It's incredible how a track called "Disco Biscuit" is getting so much acclaim, I like it too.
