They shouldn't have to scream, the music should just speak for itself. Revisited this again and as good as ever. Captures what was really good about early Dream Theater, great dynamic songwriting, with an endearing production value. Definitely overlooked, but I wouldn't call it underrated as everyone I know that I play it for loves it.

Sad to see a quality album like this being this overlooked. The vocalist is especially awesome, he doesn't necessarily have the most powerful voice in the world, but the man clearly knows how to use it effectively, sounds awesome. Maybe this band was little too generic 90's prog and didn't stick out from the crowd or the stupid name changes confused people, but this is seriously good stuff that deserves more love and recognition.

No, I wouldn't say it's generic 90s prog, there's some good song-writing here.
I agree this is unfortunately overlooked. It should have been bigger, but I bet there was not much promotion for this, not enough touring (if any, I don't know).

Really good album.
