Why are there two exactly equally named and covered albums, with the same release date and with a different tracklist on their discography? >.<

For those interested (and to attempt to clear up some confusion) here is the bandcamp stream for THIS version of The Ape Of God. This version is pretty much what I would expect from an OMG record, but it's incredibly underwhelming in performance, and just lacks any sort of variation to interest me.

Seriously, wtf did these guys think when deciding to joke with the date/title. Such a lame action is especially odd coming from profound lore record.

I think it's pretty obvious that it was an attempt to draw some attention (both for the label and for OMG). It's still pretty annoying, but the fact that they put both parts up to stream on bandcamp eases some of the confusion in my mind. Either way I don't really think it's worth revisiting for me.

I quite like these albums - seems like a logical progression from NO. I don't know who does all the electronics on this - is it Aaron Turner? I saw that on the first few Luke Scarola dit it

I love this album. Old Man Gloom's best album in my opinion.

The album covers are different. The most obvious difference is the second half's cover has a blueish tent to the white parts.
