I thought you hated Bathory?

yes, indeed I do, But I love Watain. So I am really wondering what they could have done with Bathory.

Btw, as you know I also hate Venom, Hellhammer, Celtic Frost, yet I own most of their seminal works. Because I find it important to knwo metal's history. No matter if I don;t like it or not. I also own loads of hair 'metal' crap such as Ratt, Poison, Motley Crue, etc. due to the same reasons.

Interesting. I sell off anything I don't like regardless of how seminal it is. I can't stand having music around that I don't listen to - indeed I hate having anything that I don't use around the place. Suffice to say we often have garage sales.

funny thing is that accept for Venom the music of those bands isn't even sentimental for me. It just has to do with the historical relevance of it all within the context of metal for me. That's why I also read and own biographies by bands such as Motley Crue. don't like their music at all but they are an important part of metal history.
