Had one listen through and this is very good. Love the drumming and the bass, very prominent. Some very interesting time signatures and song structures. Vocals are excellent. One of the better albums of the year, for sure.

The track "Sul Ponticello" is mesmerising to me, almost hypnotic with that drum track.

One of the best things to come out all year, and possibly (though it will take further listens to sort out for sure) Intronaut's best to date. I've said it before and will repeat: These guys are doing things other stoner and/or post bands aren't doing, and in such a bloated genre they are a breath of fresh air and then some.

FWIW saw them last week with BTBAM and Enslaved and they knocked it out. Wished their set was longer than it was. Met two of them afterward and they were cool dudes.

Finally a worthy successor to Valley Of Smoke and possibly their best album to date. I'll still have to ponder on that. It only gets better the more you listen to it. This band is so good.

I wish they would come to Portugal so that I could witness it live though

Hooked on this album right now. Gets better every time I listen to it. Great drumming, sounds complicated. Hope they visit Australia at some point and bring Enslaved with them. Seeing both those bands on one night would be memorable.

This one seems a bit heavier (can't remember harsh vocals having similar prominence) and sometimes more direct than Habitual Levitations, but it's almost as good as it - likely going to be this year's post-metal AOTY in the lack of strong competition (aside from perhaps Tacoma Narrows...). Seems like I need to check out Valley Of Smoke sometime

You should listen to Valley Of Smoke right now. It's so much batter than Habitual Levitations and on par with this new one. I think you would like it.

Seems like I liked HL a lot more than you did, but shall give VOS a listen now.

Great multiple drum cam views of Danny Walker playing "Digital Gerrymandering" from this album on the recent tour across north America with BTBAM, Enslaved and Native Construct. Goddamn I love his drumming.

Criminally underrated here on Metalstorm. Best rhythm section in all of metal today and the vocals are oustanding here. Guitar work brilliant. Call me a fanboy if you want, I don't care. Ticks all the boxes for me.
