Wow, this was... bad. I had such hopes for this album:( It's painfully mediocre. The only song which stuck in my head after the first listen was The Living End, with 1-2 exeptions most of the songs are just meh. I'll give it a few more listens, but I can't imagine liking this album.

Wow, this is exceptionally bad. Yet another shitty album by Tarja. Move along people. Nothing to hear here.

I honestly don't think it's that bad. It's quite good actually. Not as good as Colours in the Dark which is imo her best album but very enjoyable. If I had to rank it I'd say something around 7 or 8 but closer to 8 than to 7.
But I think that Tarja could have a more careful selection of the songs, skip the release of the The Brightest Void and make the songs didn't make it on the album bonus tracks. It would have saved her fans some frustation and I think it would have worked better.

The intro to Demons In You reminds me of old Chili Peppers. And Diva suggests she still hasn't gotten over being sacked from Nightwish.

Eh I think it's OK she wants to flame Nightwish, I mean it's probably the most iconic thing that happened in her entire career.

I hated this album on first spin but now eh, it has it's moments. She sounds decent, production is fine, it's just the songwriting. Nearly all the tracks go nowhere, the chorus and the verses blend right into each other. She had Alyssa from AE on a track and wasted that. I actually think Diva is probably the most interesting track, that or Undertaker.

It's better than Colors in the Dark imo, but it's... still bad. First album and second album between them made a decent album, and then everything since has been pretty forgettable.

I love the creepy vibe that some of the songs have, both here and on The Brightest Void, but then the bland "rock" tunes kill it all away.

I think people are sleeping on Tarja's solo career. Holy shit what a ride, Supremacy is an excellent song.

I think her best solo album. I actually like her solo stuff. Typical of Nightwish albums too a lot of solid tracks a couple mediocre and a couple res great tracks. Too many my fave.
