Some parts of it reminded me (especially the growls) of early Evereve, a german gothic/doom band. Good album!

This album has some really nice melodies. It has a lot of atmospheric, post-metal moments as well as many guitar lines clearly inspired by Greg Mackintosh's style (just listen to As a Pilgrim). Still, it's definitely a good record that has its own vibe. I'm not sure, if this is the band's best work to date, but I'm glad they try not to repeat themselves and succeed in doing so. Favourite tracks: Out of Nest, Missing Day, Clocks.

I found this to be supremely boring. It sounds like the guitarist has just learned the minor pentatonic scale, and the uninspired solos drone on over the vocals.
