even official snow mobile roads are 99% safe, but we ride over all and be in ice its always at your own risk, and mid april is my border when I go on the ice
We have one ice road for cars, in Luleå you can drive car to small islands . To get to the town I need cross 6 lakes, by snow mobile and almost all roads cross some water way. I gass as crazy when I cross rivers or big big lakes

---- I am the Magician and the Exorcist. I am the axle of the wheel, and the cube in the circle. “Come unto me” is a foolish word: for it is I that go.
Haven't given a serious listen to any of their albums till date as I recently only saw them doing split/collabs or something. Will probably start from this.

I haven't listened to much of their splits or EPs, but definitely give the debut a listen when you can. Absolutely riproaring grind at an impressive level of catchiness and energy few other bands really match IMO. It's definitely become one of my favorites of the genre.
Their sophomore effort, Rudiments Of Mutilation, is pretty good too but a little heavier on the electronics. Solid, but didn't really care for it as much, personally. I'm hoping this new one is closer in sound to the debut

Really solid album and super heavy, but I feel like it is being overhyped. AOTY? Not even close. Just a really good time and a well-focused bit of aggression. Should you still buy it? I'd say so.

Yeah I don't see anything particularly impressive about this. It's some solid and really fun grind, but no elements of the songwriting stand out to me as unique nor super noteworthy. Nothing more than a "good/decent" album in my opinion

I still think it's pretty original for the style though, then again, their most original album is the far noisier and electronic-influenced "Rudiments Of Mutilation". Check that one out if you haven't.

I haven't check it out new grindcore releases of this year but going with the flow of this record, this is definitely unappealing. "Gnawed Flesh" comes out to be the only song which sounds kicking.
I find it much better than that Nails album last year.
Because it is

Indeed, it's quite good for what it is, but I have a hard time ever really labeling any grind album as AOTY. That probably just says a lot about how I often look for originality and innovation in music, as grind isn't usually a genre where either of those can be found in large doses

True. The last grind album that blew my mind was Qliphoth, released two years ago already..

I'd probably say the best grind album of recent years is Ravenous Solemnity, and Dephosphorus have a new album coming out this year. I highly suspect that will beat this album out quality-wise in the grind department.

Fact. The only grind album I think I've featured on a year end list was 'Romantic Love' by Dendritic Arbor. Now that was an interesting release.
This is a great album. You guys are nuts. Tons of guitar/vocal layering very erratic and unique drum fills. Fantastic production (Kurt Ballou is a god), a good amount of noise. This album kicks you in the teeth in the heaviness department too.

I watched the video you posted in the shoutbox - not a fan of the genre at all. As a matter of fact, it sucks. But that live video tho, impressive stuff.

If they do one thing right, it's stage presence. That's for sure.
