You can now remove this from your bucket list I remember listening to a couple of song a few months ago and quite liking them. I'll come back when I find the time to listen to the entire opus

I think winning is a long shot . Honestly, I'd prefer a review for the album to any awards. Would be interesting to read a longer, deeper analysis about it.

Honestly a lot of it (the production, the songwriting, etc.), while not all that different from the other ones, is what I want from an atmospheric black metal project. I'd say you keep going with music, Metren! I remember you wrote you were giving up and selling all your guitars, I'd say you should make another Dreadrealm album.

Thanks! I did sell my guitar, but I bought a new and better one and I am already working on the next album

Thanks for the awesome music! Going on a long drive tomorrow. I'll listen to this.

Just listened it again, its amazing one , true BM not about st. ann, but nature , music what I like, emotional, atmospheric, poetical, all what I like into BM... MS avards in BM scene will be hard to chose, there are 3-4 good albums, but new discoveries. YES

This has been one of my very few companions for the last couple of days.
To shorten a long story: I lost my (ancient and crammed) MP3 player and my headphones on a flight to my holiday location.
So what to do when you are about to leave the hotel's WI-FI zone in 10 minutes and the only music on your smartphone is the ringtone of the Captain Future theme? Right, finally download something from bandcamp you always wanted to try out...

I looped this album for at least 5 hours and I really love it. I particulary enjoyed the story-like soundscapes. Hearing "Lurkers In The Dark" for the first time (lying on the beach with my eyes shut) almost scared me to death as an unexpectedly strong wave hit me like a cold shiver at 1:08.

You maybe should have used your harsh voice more regulary, that's the only small downer I could spot.

No follow up?

I've got around to having a good listen to your first record and I have to say you've created a great record here, I can see me listening to this often on a cold Winter's night you should be so proud of what you've achieved

I have to say It's very well produced, and your guitar work is excellent, and mixed perfectly well with your synth work. There are some super nice melodies throughout this album too, and I'm equally impressed with both your harsh and clean vocals, perhaps I would have liked to hear more from your harsh vocals but I'm not going to complain

You've managed to capture that all important, splendid, cold, grim, winter atmosphere, that I would even say is on par with Elderwind, and is more captivating than what most atmospheric black metal bands have released. I'm not sure who your influences were but at times I'm reminded of Blut Aus Nord Memoria Vetusta I and II, and some of the slower parts remind me of Opeth, and even some Agalloch, maybe that's just me though

I enjoy this album alot, and I'm really looking forward to hearing what you do next

What a neat sound! The opening track in particular was astonishing. And it was presaging how well the rest was going to be... I dig it very much!
