I was expecting some Brazilian hard metal fans bashing Sandy on track 3 for untrueness or something... I guess that kind of thing only happens on Facebook then.

Isso foi só uma minoria no facebook, a maioria apoiava e queriam que ela tivesse participado mais.

Well on an fb brazilian metal group I am part of (mostly for the lolz since it's a horrible group) they were bashing it. They are those kind of guys who listen to only the classic albums released on the 90s and everything that came after is bad. They also think metal is dying...

Most Angra fans (and brazilian metal fans in general) live in the past. They even want André to come back. The guy can't even help himself anymore.

Yeah, I was expecting more from Sandy. She sounds good, but I was expecting some kind of duet with Lione, or something like that. Songs like No Pain for the Dead would sound really good with her.

Anyway, I think it's a great album. Good to see the band's still able to put some fresh material. Magic Mirror and Silent Inside are fantastic, and I like the way the album grows from speed power towards a more progressive edge.

Best Angra album since Temple of Shadows IMO. I like the proggier elements as well!

BORING! The songwriting on this album is a gigantic step down from the writing on the last Rhapsody of Fire album with Fabio in it... what a downgrade, I feel bad for the guy. There is nothing interesting, exciting, fresh, or even remotely catchy here. I guess they still have enough Brazilian fanbois to keep selling albums, for that, they are lucky.

When the best track on the album is a non-metal track (Always More), then you have to be dumb to rate this one so high or even consider it as good as Angra's classics. This album is, for the most part boring and derivative, but that was obvious since Kiko is now in Megadeth, no longer focusing on Angra, Fabio is Fabio, feels like he brought Rhapsody with him and on top of that he is not that much involved and dedicated in the band, thing which can be felt in the vocal delivery. My point is that Fabio is not even struggling to be replace Falaschi or Matos and make them forgotten (as Falaschi did after Matos left).

This album would have fit more as a Bittencourt solo album. It is very similar with his 2008 album. He is the main songwriter on this one.

I think it´s a really well conceived álbum, with great moments. Maybe the best one since Temple of Shadows, but not in my top 3 best álbums from Angra. Still, an amazing comeback from this great band, even though they have only one member left of the original line-up. Kiko Loureiro is genius, that´s why he´s part of Megadeth now, but Marcelo Barbosa really stood out and did a great job, bringing new ideias aswell. I will watch their show live in Lisbon on the 30th of March, and im really hoping for a great spectacle.

Stay Metal!

Oof, this album is so boring, generic and uninspired - the core and the essence of Angra seems absent. I loved Secret Garden, Aqua and Aurora Consurgens, but this one is nothing but a big disappointment and let down

Now that I've given this album some spins I can finally say that I really like it. I still prefer their approach in Secret Garden (Final Light, Upper Levels), but this album has some very interesting songs as well.

This one is a grower. Not my favorite by Angra and I prefer "Secret Garden" but this one still offers several good songs. I just think Rafa should stop singing for god's sake. "The Bottom Of My Soul" shouldn't be on the album, sorry Rafa just let the singers sing.

Solid album, I just can't stand Fabio though. Props to Rafael for enduring yet another seismic line-up change. I do miss Kiko, the duo made the band special but with Omni Rafa showed that he still has a lot to deliver.

I reckon Angra have become more mature and tight. The levels of instrumental skill are not fully present as in previous releases but these are excellent songs nonetheless.
