If this guy would release one album a year instead of five albums with multiple bands he probably would end up making a perfect traditional black metal album.

This is a great album but I wouldn't call it, or really any of his stuff, traditional black metal. It belongs it the pantheon of the Black Twilight Circle lot, Negative Plane etc. who emphasise psychedelic, often bassy, atmospheres and more freeform sounding / improv-like song writing approach. It only superficially resembles traditional black metal which often has a simple punky structure to it.

I really liked this one.

While you're re-exploring music, check out Void Eater, specifically the first EP. The Glyph track is probably my most played metal song of the past few years now.
