Surely he hasn't managed to write 27 amazing songs. A bit of culling into one album would be preferred. Can we expect a best of next year?

Just because I'm not so sure shoegaze qualifies as metal. I get post-metal bands like Alcest being on here though. It's not a complaint, I like shoegaze, just saying

Nah, there's no blackgaze here. It's straight God Is An Astronaut style post rock/shoegaze. Rather tedious to get through really, as it sounds like a straight forward rip off to me. But most post-rock is extremely derivative at this point.
