Hmm, well if this is anything to go by they've lost their immense crushing doomy vibe and gone for a more straight up black metal sound. Not bad, but after the brilliant Æ.Thy.Rift it's setting up to be a disappointment.

Guys it's just a song, maybe they'll make this album even more diverse than Ae.Thy.Rift mixing black doom tracks with full black metal songs.

Well, I'll give them the benefit of doubt, perhaps they're saving the best for an upcoming full-length.

BTW I managed to buy Ae Thy Rift CD and it still sounds killer on my big ass stereo. Still my favorite metal album from 2016.

Yeah I can't imagine them sticking to this style from now on. Maybe they'll do something different with each record, or just experiment on EPs. This isn't bad anyway, and at least it gives them a bit of breathing room to try something different.
