Archgoat are a band that emerged through the Finnish black metal scene during the early 90s, alongside bands such as Beherit and Impaled Nazarene. Although Archgoat actually formed in 1989; amazingly, The Luciferian Crown was only the fourth full-length album that Archgoat released in the three decades of their existence.

Excellent album, it's good that they started to experiment a bit with their sound and got more atmospheric record. The only track that doesn't fit the album is "Darkness Has Returned", it's sound like metallica, I don't know why they put that in this album.

Top tracks for me are: Jezebels Black Mass Orgy, Messiah of Pigs, Sorcery And Doom.
