Hhhm, what can I say about this one...? Didnt really find a lot here for me in the first two spins.
Perhaps a blend of too many styles for my taste, and of styles that are mostly not my favourite cup of tea, I guess.
I liked some of the Doom parts though.
Dont know... wouldnt say that anything appears bad here. But will probably not return to this album soon I am afraid.

Yeah, the violins are not of this world.
I discovered Exulansis while searching for something similar to Unholydays and I'd highly recommend their EP 2018 to anyone who's keen on hearing violins in a rather unaccustomed musical environment.

Saw your comment in the album thread for the new record mourning them dividing their sound up on the last two records and went back to this album; I have to agree that this 'middle' ground is far more interesting than either of the two new records are in isolation. Dead Can't Die is a delightfully mournful song
