I gave it a 5, and that was being generous. You don't think it makes sense that people think this album is anywhere from "bad" to just a piece of shit?
No, it doesn't make sense. I wonder why you even felt the need of rating the album if you didnt like it at all.
Sorry to quote this old post, but come on, are you serious? If people only vote for what they like every album in the world would be a 10. 
So that means that Lulu would have a 10, that Illud would have a 10, that even my album would have a 10, see how ridiculous this is?
People should be able to vote on whatever, provided they've actually heard the entire album (this is why I won't vote).

Mine dwindled when I listened to the first singles so when I actually listened to the album they were low. Omega White was kinda surprising.

100% True, can't agree more with this
I consider that a release must be judged for what it is, not for what's been done in the past, because is clear that every band has their magnus opus, for example Opeth's Blackwater Park or Metallica's Master of Puppets, in the case of Moonspell we have Wolfhear and Irreligious, and for me there's no discussion, but judging a new realese based on a comparision of the masterpieces done before just make no sense, realeses must be judged (In my opinion) as individuals and in comparison to the present evolution of the metal genre, not to the almost legendary things realesed before... For example I consider alpha noir/omega white is an excelente release (taking into account the decrease of music quallity nowadays) I gave it a 9 judging this work as whole, maybe if i judge them separately this might change, as alpha noir seems to be a bit weaker than omega white.
If i judge this realease in contrast with Wolfheart or Irreligious maybe this deserves a 7, that's my point...

Actually, Moonspell never cease to amaze me, especially with Omega White. Very enjoyable indeed. "Incantatrix" has a slight The Cure influence I'm digging.

...yet still you gave it a 9? This must be quite a masterpiece if such a vital and central part of the delivery sucks and it still manages to drop the overall score only so little while being that high to begin with!

Halford asked if he ghimself was the only one finding the vocals horrible. To which the other guys answered "yes" meaning that halford is the only one and that guy doesn't think they are horrible.

No, I agree with you, I can't stand the vocals at all, but only on Alpha Noir.
Alpha Noir is such a bad album, probably even worse than Memorial (which I think is Moonspell's worst album overall). The style just doesn't fit the band at all. That being said, I think the opposite is true about Omega White. I think it's a great album, the best work they did since Irreligious.
Alpha Noir: 5
Omega White: 8,5
Moonspell should continue with their Omega White sound for sure and leave the black metal sound behind, though that's just me.

Wolfheart and Irreligious are miles ad miles and miles ahead and vastly superior to anything that comes after them.
Nothing tops Wolfheart, that I agree with. Irreligious is not as great, but it's definitely at #2. Omega White comes in at #3 for me.

Actually this album is quite good, but Fernando described as a darkest and heaviest before release. In fact it's not as gloomy as their previous opuses.
