I wonder if this is even coming out. I wandered the net and found nothing but that same story which was on blabber.
Edit: Well it did came out and it's terribly boring. It would need some good visual material to support the audio stuff. In this case the audio noise/sounds/ambient just doesn't work.

Sounds pretty good to me. Not terribly original but very well executed indeed: rich, noisy pulsating soundscapes and surprisingly restrained and varied with distant chants, pounding drum beats and inaudible chatter. Paints a picture of an old war; those constant drones the sound of fighter planes. It's its own visual pallet - just close your eyes. Not a single element of metal here though, more like death industrial.
[EDIT]
Actually this is damn excellent. In fact I'd say this even ousts Mories' Aderlating project for sheer terror of 2011.

Well, this is one of the "you either love them or hate them" bands.
If you "dig" and understand noise music, and what noise music whants to "do" whit it's expression, you're gonna love this, especially if you're into BM or generaly darker music.

Delete the other 3 tracks and treat it as an EP : P
It is the best song though, the others are a bit more subtle.

Well ye, that's the romantic way of describing it. To me it was just stuff and an attempt of trying to get the listener to the scenes of war. A mediocre document might have more effecting backgrond music of war than this has. To be honest, never cared so much of Abruptum and their offerings. They did some cool music in the early 90's, but after that the whole band hasn't really offered anything worth of attention.

Fair enough, you stick with your Obscuras and I'll stand by my Abruptums ;]

Okey.. Of course there's nothing wrong in by how you see this record. It just as right/wrong as my interpretation of it. It just doesn't manage to set the mood/sphere for me, which, I think, is pretty much the dominating feature of this kind of music. And one of my favorite tracks of all time is: link. okey it's not noise but.. yeh.

Their music is fine... But this kicks the shit out of their past releases easily. That's just my opinion though

Yeah I don't recall being massively enthralled with their past releases either.
I often get this band confused with Emit/Hammemit though so I might be thinking of them (although I really like them too).
