For decades, men have spent their time in cellars and studios clanging their penises together to create the sound of sludge. As a whole, sludge is a genre that's created by men for men; they are the ones who make the rules of sludge and what good sludge sounds like. Body Void is a three-piece sludge/doom band where one of the members is a non-binary person and queer.

Their debut was good but this mammoth release is setting new standards for this band.

And great addition to metal storm - minorities are cool, different perspectives is a must.

If you're gonna be Burning Witch-lite it doesn't seem worth doing in the first place. A few ad hoc crust / sludge passages doesn't really elevate this.

Are you trying to say that the sound or even the lyrics/theme here is too light to be interesting? Imo the music suits the theme perfectly and its quite a natural progression of the genre.

Yeah it's too light for me, doesn't make the most of the production, and it's all been done before. I don't find anything about this progressive though regarding sludge.

[edit] - maybe not "light" but clean and basic.
