It's the perfect time of year for spooky atmosphere again, is it not? This is less evil, yet more haunting type of a sound. Think Ulver's melancholic ambiance combined with Arcturus' spacey sort of quirkiness, throw in a few noisy black metal bits here and there, and you've got the basic blueprint for Smohalla's debut album Resilience.

Being pleasant and happy is totally lame. Here's something completely miserable & haunting to help you be one of the cool kids.

Thanks MS/Smohalla!

Heh, It would be cool if this is a Lifelover reference but I don't think so considering your favorite band list
