Guest review by

Remember back in the day when hardcore was hardcore and thrash was thrash? Remember when that hardcore was mixed with that thrash? If you don't then you're missing out on some of the greatest music to ever rock the earth and that's what Manifest Decimation by Power Trip is like. Old school crossover that is dark, heavy and powerful.

17.06.2013 Robust, dark, and energizing, Manifest Decimation is like a cup of Folgers. A cup of Folgers that carries around a spiked bat and will fuck you up with it.

Some really good Texas thrash! The production and vocals remind me a lot of Nailbomb.

Weird in that the mid/slower paced parts really stand out as the best for me on this. Some wacky production problems but decent enough album.
Boxcar Willy - 22.10.2013 at 05:15
Rating: 6 These guys really blew it live the other day. Drummers toms fell out of the van in Vancouver, so he played a two piece kit which was cool. Other than that they were boring as hell. No energy at all.

Not bad. Not bad at all.

  I like this.

It actually captures the 1980s cross over vibe very well.
