While oppressively heavy and quite abrasive, Graves At Sea manage to remain catchy and subtly melodic at the same time. If doom and sludge are your thing, this album is a must. Even if they aren't, listen anyway. Daniell's picks | More picks ›› |

This is such an awesome album. Stand-out track being 'The Ashes Made Her Beautiful' with its great violin work.

Really solid album. I may end up rating it higher after further listens. During the first song or so I almost wrote it off, but it grew on me quickly and became quite enjoyable. I could do with a BIT more variety, but I really appreciate the mood they crafted and stuck with. It's very specific and hides some cool layers.
