22:01 - Erik M. Holy shit, am I glad Nolan did this movie and NOT Spielberg. Sure, he's good and has made a few great movies, but he doesn't even come close to Nolan as a director, despite his influence. I'd almost call Nolan the modern Kubrick.
21:59 - 3rdWorld Yes indeed Erik and I knew it from the get-go some 3.5 yrs ago. First it was with spielberg (God, how boring it would've been if he directed it now) and then he was considering acting in it himself.
21:59 - Erik M. Frodd, it's pretty far-fetched but it can't be ruled out of course. Interesting idea, if anything. I'm still not sure whether the worm hole is a plot hole (paradox) or not though...
21:55 - Erik M. 3rdWorld, Kip Thorne was the scientific consultant for Interstellar, which immediately explains why it scientifically is very accurate. For fuck's sake, the guy was a professor in theoretical physics at age 30.
21:54 - Frodd me and a friend were talking afterwards about the possibility of the movie plot being what people have been explaining over the ages as "signs from god"
21:53 - Erik M. "Phenomenal" is indeed a very fitting word for Interstellar. "Mindblowing" is too. I rarely get so overwhelmed by a movie, but Inception and Interstellar definitely succeeded.
