It has been stated many times that we're not about to feature every single metal band that has ever existed. Usually we only add already accomplished bands with at least one full-length release. Still, many bands escape our attention, so it's up to you to tell us which of them are the most worthy of being featured on Metal Storm.
Bands listed here are suggested for addition by our users. You can vote for these bands as well as provide additional comments - both of which will be taken into account when we look for the next band to feature on Metal Storm. If the band is not in the list, you can suggest it here (you need to be a registered member).
Make sure you also check the Blacklisted bands - these are the bands we're not going to add at all, since we feel they won't be appropriate for this website. Yes, some non-metal bands are already featured here, but that's not the reason to add a lot more - so we don't accept arguments like "hey, this band is way more metal than band X you have featured!".

Not quite a metal band, but seeing that other hard rock or glam bands are featured, I do not see why these guys shouldn't be here. Great White is one of the better bands from that thoroughly commercial movement of the 80s.
23.03.2016 - SYCON
We got a full length cd as required. It'd be a great honour to be featured on this site. Here you can find some info:
Sycon bears just one thing in mind with their music - Total Havoc!
Brutal guitar riffs, versatile vocals, stomping beats and atmospheric synths defines the music, all while retaining their melodic metal roots.
Groove Factor Guaranteed!
Sycon was founded in 2009 at Oranienburg, north of Berlin. 2011 they released their first demo EP "Sniper's Poem". 2012 they moved to Berlin-Köpenick and had a fundamental member change. 2013 the only remaining member guitarist Moe joined with Jay from the Philippines as lead guitarist. Shorty after bassist Lars joined Sycon. 2014 they released the single "Downer" with female singer Seline. Royal Corvus band was formed in September 2005 and the first band name was Corvus. The name was borrowed from Latin, it translates - the Raven. It is a symbol of the wisdom in most ancient religions of the world. Raven is a carrier of souls across the River of Eternity and a binding link between the fragile edge of the World of Shadows and the World of the Living. Initially, the Corvus band was created as a melodic symphonic gothic metal project, but in the process of development and quality growth joins itself the best of the different trends and styles of rock. Now Royal Corvus band has created more than thirty Russian and English-language songs. Song's sound is very different: from romantic ballads to hard and progressive rock. And nobody of the listeners will not remain indifferent, because everyone will find something in this music for themselves. All this different musical styles are merged in one unique style - Corvus style. Besides his own works band plays covers of classic rock and pop songs. During its long history Royal Corvus band many times was engaged in various kinds of rock and bike festivals in Kharkov, and outside it. The Royal Corvus band received invitations and performed in support to rock stars as: Master, Sergey Mavrin, Epidemia, Catharsis, and vocalist of the legendary bands Rainbow and Deep Purple - Joe Lynn Turner. April 28, 2012 the Corvus band has presented their debut album - Raven Rising. October 24, 2012 Royal Corvus was official support group of SCORPIONS in Kharkov as part of the farewell tour "FINAL STING TOUR" .

Adrián Barilari with the keyboardist Hugo Bistolfi, who also left Rata Blanca in 1994, form Alianza, with many musicians sessions, which were the only members permanently was Barilari and Bistolfi. The duo explore ballads sound with more keyboard presence than Rata Blanca. Alianza did not have much impact in Argentina, but in other Latin American countries. They edited three albums Sueños del Mundo (1994), Alianza (1997), and Huellas (1999).

Innate Concept's musical identity is rooted in the Progressive Metal genre - and the word "progression" is to be taken literally. Innate Concept strives to incorporate elements, instruments and ideas normally not found in classic Progressive Metal. The newest album "Sunset In Our Eyes" combines elements from electronica and classical elements into a whole new and unique sound. A multitude of synthesizers create the atmosphere, color and texture, the mighty Taiko drum ensemble delivers power, groove and impact, while the Armenian Duduk conjures up ethereal melodies, adding yet another layer to the rich-bodied symphonic orchestra. A piano and various acoustic guitars are another integral part of melodic storytelling and quite frequently intertwine with other instruments. All of this takes place planted firmly on the foundation of thundering drums, shredding guitars and a nasty, angry bass. Innate Concept's music is challenging, demanding, cunning, powerful, intense, yet so delicate and fragile. Be prepared, for it will demand your full attention - and it will surprise you if you dare a listen. Debut album can be purchased at http://www.innateconcept.com/shop/

Progressive Metal band in the vein of The Human Abstract's Digital Veil album without the harsh vocals. Their debut album Reticence: The Musical has already been released. Definitely worth a listen.

Review by http://manslaughterthuglife.blogspot.com:
SUFFER THE PAIN - "THE DEATH"
("D.I.Y."; Tape & MP3-Download):
Also upon this I've stumbled while surfing through the web and once again checking in at the "CRUST DEMOS" blog (http://crust-demos.blogspot.com/). SUFFER THE PAIN are from Sweden and a young band playing in the department of Punk meets Metal, which means Hardcore as well as first and foremost Crustcore meets Death Metal. This release here, titled "THE DEATH", is a brandnew 2012 release and is currently up to listen to for free on their Bandcamp site and also up for free downloading on the Soundcloud site of SUFFER THE PAIN, both links I will give you at the end of this very review here, and it will be pretty soon released as a (I guess) D.I.Y. (?) tape, so it means that if you like what you are listen to then get the download and when the tape is out write to the band or something like this and damn fucking bloody buy it. Okay, a mixture out of Crustcore and Death Metal from Sweden... ah, I can hear your head start to tick and ring, spitting out one name: WOLFPACK!!! Okay, and then also a second name: WOLFBRIGADE!!! And you're pretty much right with this, even SUFFER THE PAN are in NO way a sort of a rip off or so, playing it even more Death Metal and also more dirty and rough'n'tough and raw than the legends of WOLFPACK/WOLFBRIGADE, even they go more or less at least a little bit in the direction of the legendary and still awesome debut of them. Blend furious Crustcore madness, with D-Beat kamikaze attacks, incredible strong grooving Mosh segments and an uncontrolable anthemic fist in the air sing (or: scream) a long with them attempt with Old School savage swedish Death Metal violence born and bred by the likes of ENTOMBED, DISMEMBER and early UNLEASHED, add some few sick Black Metal impressions like very old DARK THRONE to it and you've arrived in the camp of SUFFER THE PAIN. The aggressive and brutal ''grunty'' and throaty roared vocals and the great fast metallic guitar riffing work, full of aggression yet also melodies, are truly the backbone of the music of SUFFER THE PAIN, the well-versed rhythm section is making it all round, and the tight and well thought through songwriting is really just a great job done by them. There's also a larger than life cover of "BLOODY HAMMER" by ROCKY ERICKSON and even I don't know the original one (honestly not, shame on me) the version of SUFFER THE PAIN is incredible. Amazing!!! To the lyrics I can't really say anything profund but barbarism, blood, hell, pain and death seem to be pretty important ingredients of them;-). The artwork really got a great and cool look (even it's not a official part of the Soundcloud download but then just get it on there Bandcamp site) and the production sound of this five songs in something around ten minutes is aggessive and brutal, dirty and raw (in a positive sense), and so his here is a complete package. If SUFFER THE PAIN will keep on working like this they will become a really great thing, so let us keep an eye on them, an eye and two ears. Great!!! I want a tape:-)!!! Cheers!!! (9 of 10 points)

An absolutely awesome instrumental debut album "Constant Variety" is out and redefining progressive rock and metal! Former member of Steelheart and Five Finger Death Punch Uros Raskovski is the founder and leading member of the project.

Looking for local bands, I came across these guys and thought that they were pretty good! The fact that their band name is taken from the first Black Label Society album is not a coincidence, but they are NOT a cover band. They've already got three albums under their belt (the first two under the name Switchback before some trademark difficulties) and I believe they're working on a fourth. I'm not expert on this kind of metal, but I think they're worth listening to. Shout-outs kind of thing.

Day Six has grown to be one of the most well known progressive metal bands in the Netherlands. Day Six makes progressive rock, heavily influenced by various other musical genres like sympho, funk and - every now and then - even jazz. In addition to these influences, the band doesn't shy away from experiments with sounds and samples.

IH combine melodic heavy guitar with broken beats, electronics, low-tuned bass and perfectly executed vocals. Easily combines musical styles such as alternative rock, metal, industrial, post-hardcore and even dubstep, which gives an amazing effect of freshness and originality.
01.03.2012 - Fade To Black
Sometimes bands get the avantgarde moniker despite being rather plain, not Painkiller. This is some of the most disturbing experimental noise out there. This brain child of saxophonist John Zorn fuses jazz, grindcore, noise and pure hate into the soundtrack of nightmares. Still not convinced? Varg Vikerson listened to this and shit himself, there good enough?
