01:48 - Clintagräm Glory days, eh? Let me tell you of the days of high adventure!
00:44 - SSM I always think this is a great site, and it will be with this staff.
00:42 - SSM The Glory Days? It's always the glory days if you want. Sometimes it's gory, but mostly glory.
00:35 - Nimlot I could have done more, but I was just a kid in MS's halcyon days.
00:31 - Nimlot When you say "a long time" you mean "a few years", I've been here for over a decade and for almost as long as I've been listening to metal.
00:28 - Jaeryd I've also been a lurker for a long time. I don't post much or participate in the forums, but I like keeping an eye on things going on, and I like a lot of the staff here and respect their opinions on music.
It has been stated many times that we're not about to feature every single metal band that has ever existed. Usually we only add already accomplished bands with at least one full-length release. Still, many bands escape our attention, so it's up to you to tell us which of them are the most worthy of being featured on Metal Storm.
Bands listed here are suggested for addition by our users. You can vote for these bands as well as provide additional comments - both of which will be taken into account when we look for the next band to feature on Metal Storm. If the band is not in the list, you can suggest it here (you need to be a registered member).
Make sure you also check the Blacklisted bands - these are the bands we're not going to add at all, since we feel they won't be appropriate for this website. Yes, some non-metal bands are already featured here, but that's not the reason to add a lot more - so we don't accept arguments like "hey, this band is way more metal than band X you have featured!".

Not quite a metal band, but seeing that other hard rock or glam bands are featured, I do not see why these guys shouldn't be here. Great White is one of the better bands from that thoroughly commercial movement of the 80s.

Corvus is a Melodic Metal band from Ukraine. They released their debut album "Raven Rising" in 2012.
28.09.2015 - diamondblack
Royal Corvus band was formed in September 2005 and the first band name was Corvus. The name was borrowed from Latin, it translates - the Raven. It is a symbol of the wisdom in most ancient religions of the world. Raven is a carrier of souls across the River of Eternity and a binding link between the fragile edge of the World of Shadows and the World of the Living. Initially, the Corvus band was created as a melodic symphonic gothic metal project, but in the process of development and quality growth joins itself the best of the different trends and styles of rock. Now Royal Corvus band has created more than thirty Russian and English-language songs. Song's sound is very different: from romantic ballads to hard and progressive rock. And nobody of the listeners will not remain indifferent, because everyone will find something in this music for themselves. All this different musical styles are merged in one unique style - Corvus style. Besides his own works band plays covers of classic rock and pop songs. During its long history Royal Corvus band many times was engaged in various kinds of rock and bike festivals in Kharkov, and outside it. The Royal Corvus band received invitations and performed in support to rock stars as: Master, Sergey Mavrin, Epidemia, Catharsis, and vocalist of the legendary bands Rainbow and Deep Purple - Joe Lynn Turner. April 28, 2012 the Corvus band has presented their debut album - Raven Rising. October 24, 2012 Royal Corvus was official support group of SCORPIONS in Kharkov as part of the farewell tour "FINAL STING TOUR" .
23.03.2016 - SYCON
We got a full length cd as required. It'd be a great honour to be featured on this site. Here you can find some info:
Sycon bears just one thing in mind with their music - Total Havoc!
Brutal guitar riffs, versatile vocals, stomping beats and atmospheric synths defines the music, all while retaining their melodic metal roots.
Groove Factor Guaranteed!
Sycon was founded in 2009 at Oranienburg, north of Berlin. 2011 they released their first demo EP "Sniper's Poem". 2012 they moved to Berlin-Köpenick and had a fundamental member change. 2013 the only remaining member guitarist Moe joined with Jay from the Philippines as lead guitarist. "Sår" (Sar) is a solo project in Depressive Suicidal Black Metal (DSBM) genre which started in 2008 by its only member "Don Andolini" in the north of Iran. The word "Sår" has been taken from one of the Sortsind's song titles with the same name, and it means "Wounds" in English.

Amazing avantgarde band i've discovered recently, mixing jazz, slow & fast tempos with a thrashy druming and almost no vocals besides occasional screams, these guys will for sure deliver for avangarde metal fans!

Adrián Barilari with the keyboardist Hugo Bistolfi, who also left Rata Blanca in 1994, form Alianza, with many musicians sessions, which were the only members permanently was Barilari and Bistolfi. The duo explore ballads sound with more keyboard presence than Rata Blanca. Alianza did not have much impact in Argentina, but in other Latin American countries. They edited three albums Sueños del Mundo (1994), Alianza (1997), and Huellas (1999).

Innate Concept's musical identity is rooted in the Progressive Metal genre - and the word "progression" is to be taken literally. Innate Concept strives to incorporate elements, instruments and ideas normally not found in classic Progressive Metal. The newest album "Sunset In Our Eyes" combines elements from electronica and classical elements into a whole new and unique sound. A multitude of synthesizers create the atmosphere, color and texture, the mighty Taiko drum ensemble delivers power, groove and impact, while the Armenian Duduk conjures up ethereal melodies, adding yet another layer to the rich-bodied symphonic orchestra. A piano and various acoustic guitars are another integral part of melodic storytelling and quite frequently intertwine with other instruments. All of this takes place planted firmly on the foundation of thundering drums, shredding guitars and a nasty, angry bass. Innate Concept's music is challenging, demanding, cunning, powerful, intense, yet so delicate and fragile. Be prepared, for it will demand your full attention - and it will surprise you if you dare a listen. Debut album can be purchased at http://www.innateconcept.com/shop/

Progressive Metal band in the vein of The Human Abstract's Digital Veil album without the harsh vocals. Their debut album Reticence: The Musical has already been released. Definitely worth a listen.

Band 23 is a new name in Croatian scene. Band has recorded their debut MCD and self released it in 66 limited copies. I've watched their short trailer and it sounds very interesting. It is definitely something new...

Rough, simple, straightforward, but still intelligent and catchy music. Recently they've made their 5th full-length album already and it's according to many people the best of 2011 in Slovak metal scene.

Čad is very popular in Slovak and Czech Republic. It would also be nice to have some more bands from my country here. Their offical site is >>http://www.vandali.sk/<<, it also includes a band named "Vandali", which has a same line-up as Čad but functions as a different band. Here I'll provide a Czech site called Bandzone.cz, which functions as a promotional site, something like MetalStorm >>http://bandzone.cz/cad?at=info< <, here you can find about Čad's discography and some of their songs. They also have a small wiki page >>http://sk.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C4%8Cad_(hudobn%C3%A1_skupina)<< It's all in Slovak/Czech language however.

I think this band will surely be on metalstorm in the future. They are just starting out by the looks of it and have an excellent demo album out. It really fits with with a good portion of people's interests I think. It isn't personally my favorite type of music but I know more people in the metalstorm community will enjoy it.

Classic brutal death metal band. They incorporate melodies into the chaos (chaos in a good way) of their music. It is technical and will blow you away in the first minute....

Agreed, they made me blow mind chunks straight into the milky way!

I was upset when i found out Augrimmer wasn't on Metal Storm. Great band with three full length albums and a demo. Really melodic but haunting and evil sounding black metal

Adustum's first full-album "Searing Fires And Lucid Visions" was released Samhain 2011, through World Terror Committee. ~ band intro: "Adustum is an isolated entity that reinstates the long lost veritable values and traditions of the underground.Embrace this audible Grimoire as the vessel of the scorning and vicious self-initiation Rites of a Drakonian Magickian."

Young band from Colorado playing a more up-tempo thrash/black-influenced doom sound with vocals ranging from powerful cleans to screams and occasional growls. Full-length debut Harrowing Catharsis released Oct. 29, 2011. (Tracks can be previewed over at their Bandcamp page). Real solid stuff with alot of potential.
[feel free to correct me on the genre, I find them difficult to pigeonhole]

They are an Iranian band, signed to Copro Records from UK and already released an album. Metal bands from Iran, have a lot of difficulties for being heard, as metal music is almost illegal in Iran and they can't have any legal performances even in their own country.

The Austrasian Goat is an excellent band, but is sadly unheard of by most metalheads. The Austrasian Goat is a very productive artist, having produced two full lengths, several EPs, and a countless number of splits since 2006. The Austrasian Goat started out as a blackened funeral doom project, but has slowly incorporated more black metal and neo-folk influences into his work.

Dragon's Cave is solo project of virtuose guitar Steve Angarthal (Fire Trails), and the album Elektro Motion is his first work. I admire the skill, the feeling that the emotional level is so high as the skill level.
