00:05 - Maco If he wasn't a spambot or a prick, then why would you ban him? :p
00:05 - Opethian So this idiot missed out on Fallujah. Didnt know they were touring with Black Dahlia and I decided not to go. Serves me right I suppose :/
23:51 - psykometal Totalban doesn't do it automagically because not everybody we ban are spambots, and not everybody we ban was always a prick or whatever, so we don't feel it necessary to delete all of their comments from all over the site.
It has been stated many times that we're not about to feature every single metal band that has ever existed. Usually we only add already accomplished bands with at least one full-length release. Still, many bands escape our attention, so it's up to you to tell us which of them are the most worthy of being featured on Metal Storm.
Bands listed here are suggested for addition by our users. You can vote for these bands as well as provide additional comments - both of which will be taken into account when we look for the next band to feature on Metal Storm. If the band is not in the list, you can suggest it here (you need to be a registered member).
Make sure you also check the Blacklisted bands - these are the bands we're not going to add at all, since we feel they won't be appropriate for this website. Yes, some non-metal bands are already featured here, but that's not the reason to add a lot more - so we don't accept arguments like "hey, this band is way more metal than band X you have featured!".

Not quite a metal band, but seeing that other hard rock or glam bands are featured, I do not see why these guys shouldn't be here. Great White is one of the better bands from that thoroughly commercial movement of the 80s.
23.03.2016 - SYCON
We got a full length cd as required. It'd be a great honour to be featured on this site. Here you can find some info:
Sycon bears just one thing in mind with their music - Total Havoc!
Brutal guitar riffs, versatile vocals, stomping beats and atmospheric synths defines the music, all while retaining their melodic metal roots.
Groove Factor Guaranteed!
Sycon was founded in 2009 at Oranienburg, north of Berlin. 2011 they released their first demo EP "Sniper's Poem". 2012 they moved to Berlin-Köpenick and had a fundamental member change. 2013 the only remaining member guitarist Moe joined with Jay from the Philippines as lead guitarist. Royal Corvus band was formed in September 2005 and the first band name was Corvus. The name was borrowed from Latin, it translates - the Raven. It is a symbol of the wisdom in most ancient religions of the world. Raven is a carrier of souls across the River of Eternity and a binding link between the fragile edge of the World of Shadows and the World of the Living. Initially, the Corvus band was created as a melodic symphonic gothic metal project, but in the process of development and quality growth joins itself the best of the different trends and styles of rock. Now Royal Corvus band has created more than thirty Russian and English-language songs. Song's sound is very different: from romantic ballads to hard and progressive rock. And nobody of the listeners will not remain indifferent, because everyone will find something in this music for themselves. All this different musical styles are merged in one unique style - Corvus style. Besides his own works band plays covers of classic rock and pop songs. During its long history Royal Corvus band many times was engaged in various kinds of rock and bike festivals in Kharkov, and outside it. The Royal Corvus band received invitations and performed in support to rock stars as: Master, Sergey Mavrin, Epidemia, Catharsis, and vocalist of the legendary bands Rainbow and Deep Purple - Joe Lynn Turner. April 28, 2012 the Corvus band has presented their debut album - Raven Rising. October 24, 2012 Royal Corvus was official support group of SCORPIONS in Kharkov as part of the farewell tour "FINAL STING TOUR" .

Innate Concept's musical identity is rooted in the Progressive Metal genre - and the word "progression" is to be taken literally. Innate Concept strives to incorporate elements, instruments and ideas normally not found in classic Progressive Metal. The newest album "Sunset In Our Eyes" combines elements from electronica and classical elements into a whole new and unique sound. A multitude of synthesizers create the atmosphere, color and texture, the mighty Taiko drum ensemble delivers power, groove and impact, while the Armenian Duduk conjures up ethereal melodies, adding yet another layer to the rich-bodied symphonic orchestra. A piano and various acoustic guitars are another integral part of melodic storytelling and quite frequently intertwine with other instruments. All of this takes place planted firmly on the foundation of thundering drums, shredding guitars and a nasty, angry bass. Innate Concept's music is challenging, demanding, cunning, powerful, intense, yet so delicate and fragile. Be prepared, for it will demand your full attention - and it will surprise you if you dare a listen. Debut album can be purchased at http://www.innateconcept.com/shop/

Progressive Metal band in the vein of The Human Abstract's Digital Veil album without the harsh vocals. Their debut album Reticence: The Musical has already been released. Definitely worth a listen.

Awesome band with some great guest musicians. If you are a true metal fan, this band will not disappoint you. True sounding metal as fresh as it's possible. Oh, and Michael Kiske is a part of it. No more needed to be said. Metal is still the thing, there's always a band that keeps it true. In this case it's Tomorrow's Outlook.

Garleben is a german Black Folk Metal band from Hamburg. They were found on the 11. of September in the year 2008 by Wittwolf and S. from Metakognition.

While trying to write the german lyrics for "Valhall awaits me" they decied to continue singing in german language.
Garlbene is mainly inspiered and influenced by bands like Amon Amarth, Ensiferum, Finsterforst, Dissection and Windir.

Decay called Necrofuneral was formed in one late autumn evening in 2005. Founding members - Necrolust (vocals) and Nocturnal started an era of this putrid horde. Some time later, new souls possessed by black metal joined the band. Their names were Igor (bass, guitar) and Mor (guitar). Immediately after their arrival Nocturnal left the band due to personal problems. The same year Necrofuneral - Necrolust, Igor and Mor recorded first mini demo called - „Humans getting lost in flames of hellish plague". There was only one song on this demo. In 2006 new rotting soul Funebris (drums) joined the band. However there were some disagreements between the members and Igor left the group. He was replaced by Nocturnal who played with Necrofuneral in 2005. Rehearsing of new songs started. Mor also left and started to devote to his second band. There was still need for bass guitar player so vocalist Necrolust took care of that by playing bass line himself. In second half of 2006 Necrofuneral recorded new mini demo called - „Rotting Nuns". This demo had strong and rotting sound just like the band imagined. This demo represented real and true "black" feeling. After the record Nocturnal again left the band. Necrofuneral consisted of Necrolust and Funebris. However they didn't give up and kept on spreading this "rot". Necrolust put away the bass guitar and he started to play guitar. At the end of 2006 third demo was recorded. Demo consisted of a few tracks and was entitled - „Fucking Rehearsal". As the year 2007 started new bass guitar player Putredo joined the band. Necrofuneral was complete but there were some difficulties with the rehearsal room. They had to move to another but there wasn't any. So Necrofuneral was forced to end with rehearsals...In the end of this fucking era, another rare demo came to an existence, titled "Fuck you...Jesus Christ". Almost one year of this silence passed and in 2008 there was a break through. Necrofuneral rose from the dungeons and started to spread the stench of decay - of rotting corpses. There were again some changes in the setup. Necrolust (guitar, vocals) Funebris (drums) and new member Warlock (guitar). That year the band started to perform live and as a help bass guitar player Nerghal joined them...
In the same year (2008) band published their fourth demo recorded from a live performance. Demo contained five tracks and despite the filthy or incomprehensible sound of the CD the record got the attention of the public. It was the last record of "rotting"Necrofuneral in 2008. After few months Warlock (guitar) left and Necrofuneral Published demo EP called - "Thorn of Doom" that contained new and old songs also. Again there were difficulties with the rehearsal room and the period of silence returned... It is year 2009 and Necrolust (vocals, guitar) is again on the scene. From the former SETUP only Necrolust and Nerghal stayed. New member was Damianangel - guitarist from the Demonoid Virtue. He was also playing live performances. Funebris couldn't play because he was abroad. So Necrolust started to program the drums, so Necrofuneral didn't have drummer. Immediately after the start of rehearsing a new demo EP called "Rotting Nuns"was recorded, which contained remastered older tracks and some bonuses. After a while Nerghal left the band...
Short period passed and new bass guitar player Morbid came on the scene. After his arrival the band started to prepare their strongly anticipated material called - "Church in Flames"one of their most sovereign materials of their career... They also started to spread the stench of rotting corpses by the live performances and also Necrofuneral started to prepare for the first video for the song Church in Flames

They have a nice progressive metal sound, I think it's quite distinct. Their music is inspired and talented. They have released at least 1 CD so far. I think they have a successful future if they continue in this direction. It should be included here on Metal Storm. (Though I couldn't find their official website.)

SHAMALL is the moniker used by German composer and multi-instrumentalist Norbert Krueler, a highly influential DJ in Germany by trade and a passionate part-time musician to boot.
His first artistic creations came to be in 1986, at that time heavily tinged by various forms of mainstream electronic music. His first ventures were rather successful from a commercial point of view, but Krueler's artistic aspirations weren't totally satisfied by these first creations. As a long time fan of bands like Pink Floyd, Marillion as well as the Krautrock of his native Germany, his works slowly but steadily started incorporating more and more of these influences in his musical endeavours - with a particular emphasis on Pink Floyd.
In the last few years a somewhat stronger emphasis on acoustic instruments have been added to his musical palette, along with the inclusion of Krautrock -inspired musical elements.

2007 product of UK Thrash scene that year but always against the grain and barely fitted in. Spotted by Russ Russell (Napalm Death, Dimmu Borgir etc) supporting Napalm in the midlands and dragged into the studio to record an EP called Saltergate in 08 - widley acclaimed and received. Limited shows since but now have an album on the way to be recorded with Russ and released in 2012. Could be very exciting release.
